Opera SLO Children’s Summer Camp

A two-week adventure culminates in a one-hour fully staged, set, and costumed production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado, complete with live music, sets, costumes, and props. No experience is required, just a willingness to try! Daily activities include learning correct vocal technique, drama and stage movement, ear training and musicianship, and making props and costumes.

Outside Now Nature Summer Camps

Look for the return of Tadpole and Tree Frog sessions with exciting new camp themes for the youngest adventurers! Water Strider and Wild Earth Wanderer camps are back with all the fun and adventure that youth ages 7–12 could ask for!  Nature Crafters Camp is coming back for its second year to give those who want to sit down and get crafty with natural materials and traditional skills a chance to create! Artemis Way Camp is returning for its 3rd year, providing a special experience for girls ages 9-12. At Artemis Way, girls and their mentors weave together nature play, music, dance, and meaningful projects. 

New this year, we have Teens in Nature Camp, which will combine the best of our old teen favorites: Ways of the Scout and Tracker Camps. This is a great opportunity for teens to make new friends and experience themselves in new ways in the healing and balancing space of nature. Songbirds: Nature and Music Camp is a new offering that we are very excited about! This one is for creative, curious young people ages 8-14 who want to learn, practice, and refine their expression of the magic of nature through music. Fish Camp is our new camp for campers who want nothing more than to spend the lazy days of summer fishing local waterways, playing fun games, and making new friends!
